Abby's Princess Party

(7/11/10)Today we celebrated Abby's 4th birthday, she had Cinderella their and most of her closest friends and family. When Jason got back from picking up the cake, Abby thought it was great, and got in a daze looking at the cake and I got some cute pictures. This was the food table, although I did not get a picture of the food on the table. I got alot of ideas from blog sites, and had sooo much fun decorating. The theme was "princess" but not too much of the disney princess, more like anything, sweet; crystal, glitter, tulle, pink, purple, stars, hearts, and more glitter. Abby was in awe of Cinderella really being at her house. Before the party started Cinderella was in Abby's room waiting on everyone to arrive, while I was in their talking to her Abby peeked around the corner and the look on her face was priceless, she just stared at her and looked so nervous, it was really sweet. She hugged her and they got to know each other. After the girls picked them out a dress and high heel shoes, they went to Cinderella's table where they got make-up, glitter in their hair and they picked out a best friends necklace and ring and then Cinderella used her wand and made them into a real princess. This is one of Abby's friends, Breanna that she goes to pre-school with she had another party to go to and could not stay long, but she got her make-up done, and I sent her home with all the party favors: castle magnet craft, tiara, lip gloss, necklace, ring, magic wand, coloring page, crayons, and choclate suckers in heart and start shapes. Some of the little princesses!! After the girls had been served their food they were entertained, Cinderella told the story in a very theatrical way, she would break out in song, and then continue the the story. It was amazing, I was impressed, she could really sing and the girls loved it. Later she had the girls up with their wands and they sang Bibbity Bobbity Boo! SO CUTE! After helping serve cake and ice cream, Cinderella helped Abby open all her presents. All of her friends. They were hugging Cinderella over and and over and when it was time to go, they all dashed to the door upstairs to watch her leave, she said little girls always want to see what kind of car she leaves in. They waved and just sort of stood on the front steps for a minute like they were sad she was leaving. I think they all had a good time, and I am so thankful she has such sweet friends and they all have sweet momma's and I am friends with them all. Abby, Tabor and Abbie playing with her new barbie make-up kit from Mrs.Kelley her K3 teacher who wasn't able to make it. They LOVE make-up.
