Saturday

(7/25/09)Happy Birthday Sara! A friend at work celebrated her little girls first birthday Saturday morning, Abby had so much fun on the water slides after she finally went the first time. She thought that the wet grass in the pools at the bottom were bugs and she is not going to come close to any bug. My mom and dad kept my kittens while we were out of town, and the girls over there playing so I couldn't resist taking a picture.

Abby and Tabor

(7/24/09)We got home from the beach around 5:00 on Thursday, and Friday we didn't do much at all but unpack, Abby and Tabor played all day long. I couldn't manage to take any pictures of them playing or swimming because I was pictured out, and so was Abby her smiles were getting harder and harder to get by the end of our trip. But Abby brought Tabor home some surprises and one of them was a tee shirt so I had to get a few pictures.

Panama City Beach Trip

(7/18-7/23) The whole time we were in the car driving Abby kept saying she couldn't wait to play in the sand, and that is just what she meant, because as soon as she got her bathing suit on and we said go for it she was rolling in the sand like she couldn't get enough of it. We ate outside at Shuckums but first we had to draw on the wall! When you are riding down the strip with the windows rolled down and the music turned up loud this is what you get. Abby was cracking me up when she was getting down in her car seat, she was into it too! After souvenir shopping Abby wanted to ride, each one she got on took her money, but after trying them all and the fourth one finally worked it was worth all the quarters we put in when she was so happy and started laughing. We went to Pier Park and as soon as we the trampoline ride thing, we knew we would be paying for her to ride and sure enough that's what she wanted to do. She waited her turn so patiently,(forever) and when she was done she just squeezed our neck and told us over and over how much fun that was. Abby saw this giraffe and told me she wanted her picture made with it, she colored her picture at the restaurant, The Back Porch and then when we got ready to go back to our car we got a ride on a pedicab, and he took the scenic route, that was worth what ever Jason tipped him. We ate at Captain Anderson's for my birthday, I know, what better way to celebrate your birthday? Well I turned 30, and was not very happy about it and have really been dreading it. Before we blew out the candle we all made a wish and Abby said her wish was that she could eat that pie and then she said I wish my mom wouldn't be 30, I said me too! But while we were eating that yummy piece of chocolate pie and I got to share it with my two favorite people I figured it will be okay so I am over it now. We went to Gulf World to see the dolphin show and the high divers and the sea lion show, that was a lot of fun getting to watch Abby experience all these new things, we saw huge turtles, manta ray's, birds, sharks, penguins, alligators and a scuba diver. After we took pictures on the beach, we went back to the room, and I cooked a pizza while Jason took Abby back to the beach to do some crab hunting, we just knew she would freak out but she thought they were pretty and she even walked on the sand after seeing them. She usually goes crazy when she sees any type of bug or insect, she always surprises me. MORE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR TRIP. ~We left Gulf World to eat at Pineapple Willy's then went back to watch the sea lion show ~Abby though she was something else with her newest phone and purse as we walked to our car ~she loved playing on the top bunk ~we spent a lot of time waiting on elevators. ~Jason and I got to snorkel because the water was crystal clear ~Jason and Abby sorting out all the pretty shells ~Abby made friends ~our condo was so nice ~Abby went wild running on the beach ~we had green flags every day ~Abby took a nap on the way to the car to get our luggage. We had a great trip and made a lot of memories!

Abby and Tabor

(7/13/09)Abby and Tabor were in the pool when I got home. For supper they wanted hot dogs so here they are outside eating then they decided they wanted pizza that Jason and I were eating so here they are inside eating, then it was time for Abby to get a bath so they took a bath together and kept playing after getting clean pj's on it was time for Tabor to go home. We have a neighborhood full of children, but to have your best friend live right next door...doesn't get any better than that!!

After spending time in Abbys class to see what all they did during the week, the children went outside to play, then back inside for a little program and some songs, then they had a fireworks show. Abby was not crazy about the fireworks but after explaining to her and showing her the guys that were shooting the fireworks she was okay. It has to be a crazy world form their eyes sometimes. We hot home late after catching up with an old friend, we had a great night.

Abbys Birthday Party

(6/20/09)Abbys birthday is December 21st but we celebrate in June for her half birthday. This year she had a carnival/circus themed party and she had so much fun. It was really hot but we kept everybody cool with a mister, fans and cold drinks. We had a ticket booth and when the kids arrived they got a necklace with tickets on it and a bag for them to decorate for their goodies. They played games like lucky duck, go fish, pin drop, bean bag toss, and we had a lollipop tree too, the last booth was "pick a prize" (stuffed animals) just like on the midway. We turned the garage in to a huge tent, to get the feeling of being under the big top. We had a pinata, hotdogs, nachos and cheese, popcorn, cupcakes and icecream. Twinkles the clown did face painting, and balloon animals, she was definitely the hit of the day. I can't thank my parents and Jasons parents enough for all their help. My dad grilled the hotdogs, my mom helped on everything from the signs for the games to buying all the food. Jasons mom made all the aprons for us carnival workers and Abbys outfit, and his dad and sister, blew up all the balloons, that was a huge help, we had over 120 balloons and there was no way I had time to blow them up. So thank you to our parents, and all the children and their parents who came!
