Girl Scouts.
(3\15\12)At our girl scout meeting we had a lot going on, first in our daisy circle one of the things we talked about was bulling, and saying things to someone that may hurt their feelings, and that you can't take those words back, you can apoligize but you can't take away the way those words made that person feel. I heard this example somewhere and it just stuck with me, so we wadded up this piece of flat straight paper and then tried our best to straighten it back out but just like our words you can't make it perfect again. There was a little more to it than that but I think it helped the girls understand. Then we took pictures holding our signs we put in our cases of cookies that we sent to our troops in Afghanistan and to the women we sent cookies to at The Love Lady Center.
Then we painted our little leprechaun hats, and ate dinner.
We also had cake and ice cream to celebrate Juliette Gordon Low (the founder of Girl Scouts) 100th birthday. The girls thought it was great to sing Happy Birthday!
