12/24/2010 We had the Jason's family Christmas party at Christy's house. We got to see Savannah and Lanie! The kids swapped gifts and we had a great time. When we left Christy's we rode by the barn and Dusty was at the gate so we stopped to let Abby pet him. Next stop was at the Tanner's, Cherry read her annual poem, it was great as always. It is so good to have all of our family so close, and we were all blessed with another wonderful Christmas Eve. I love this family and have been part of it for 15 years now and have so many great memories of Christmas with them all. Over to my parents house to finish the day, before we head home to wait for Santa. Mom and Dad prepare a great dinner and put so much effort into every little detail. The girls big thing this year was a charm bracelet, each charm was individually wrapped and each girl had their boxes wrapped in the same wrapping paper and they were all hung on the tree like ornaments. They had to hunt down their boxes! Once they got all their boxes it was time to open them up, and it took a while. Each charm had special meaning. Some of Abby's were a soccer ball, tiara, horse, violin, teddy bear, and so many more there wer 17 in all. Gingerbread House! Matching PJ's Annual picture.

Happy Birthday Abby!

12/21/2010 Happy Birthday Abby!!! Today Abby turns 5!!! We woke up to find that our Elf BJ had decorated the living room for Abby's birthday, there were streamers everywhere, balloons and even presents!! While we were all at work Pops and Abby were hard at work making her birthday cake. She said she wanted a pink cake with white fluffy icing and lots of sprinkles. It turned out so pretty and tasted yummy! GranJan gave her 5 dollars, the next birthday figurine in her collection and Pops gave her another pearl to add to her necklace. BJ gave her a stuffed horse she HAD TO HAVE, and we gave her a game to add to our collection. We went by the church to pick up her cheerleading uniform and pom poms. The mess was still there when we got home.

12/19/2011 We had Christmas at Aunt Linda's and tried our best to get pictures of GranJan,Pops and all the grandchildren. Bronson loves balls! Three little angels. They each played their violins and then all played together for Aunt Linda's family, and they did good, they are not shy at all about playing. They girls loved their gifts/Pops and Bronson/Lauren and her two little ones.

(12/18/10)Family Christmas at Aunt Donna's house. Madison, Abby and Carlee. Aunt Donna bought them tattoos, Christmas purses and ornament crafts! They played their violins for the first time as a group and then they played individually. They did really good! We played Dirty Santa, Uncle Jason alway gets in the floor and plays with them, and there's sweet little Bronson. Later we meet Jason's family and Jabbo took us all out to eat.

(12/16/10)Abby's Christmas party for her K4 class was today! They ate and then past out favors to each other. Mrs.Rachel gave all the girls purses!

(12/15/10)We made our 2010 Christmas cards today and here are some of the ones that didn't make the cut. The card ended up with Abby holding the present and it read Jesus is the Greatest Gift of all. Isn't that so true?

(12/13/10)Tonight was parent watch night at Abby's dance.

(12/11/10)Hueytown Christmas Parade. We got a good park and then Jason walked over to get us breakfast from Arbys. Good hot coffee, warm blankets and we are all set. Abby always loves the parade, what's not to love?

(12/10/10)We were invited to Christy's for a Christmas party for all the kids. They started by making ornaments. Look at the intensity with that tongue sticking out! Then Santa came in. He passed out gifts to all the boys and girls. That's a bunch of kiddos. They played fun games, Abby and Olivia were trying so hard to blow up balloons. These 4 girls all took dance together last year and this year too. Abby and Maggie.

(12/9/10)We went to a recital for all the children that have been taking lessons under the same people we have. The girls were not in it this year but they will be next year so we went to see what to expect. GranJan, Pops, Carlee, Madison, and Abby then Jason and I met them there. It was really good and I am excited to see them up there next year! (12/9/10)

(12/8/10)It's almost Abby's birthday, since they will be getting out of school in a couple of days I took a cake for Abby's birthday to her school. Poor child her birthday is SOOO close to Christmas she can't even celebrate at school. But we make up for it because she gets her birthday recognized about 3 times!! I set everything up while they were in Chapel and then I joined them for the last part. She was so happy for me to be there and to have a cake for her and all her friends. She wanted a Hannah Montana cake so that's what we got! She has the sweetest little class, so many little girl friends and the best teacher, Mrs. Rachel.

(12/5/10)Happy Birthday Carlee! Tonight was Carlee's birthday party at a little shop, where they let Carlee do all her friends make up and then they had a fashion show on the stage! It was a Pickalicious Party! They all got to pick out a necklace and bracelet. Then it was time for cupcakes and ice cream.

(12/3/10)Breakfast with Santa at Abby's school. We rode the bus around the block listening to Christmas music and then had breakfast before Santa came in to see all the kids, and pass out gifts.

(11/28/10)Maggie came home with us after church and we though it would be a good idea for us to go eat before we went home, how I forgot how a 1 year old is in a restaurant!!!

(11/25/10)Thanksgiving at Granny Jo's, we always have a good time here. Not everybody was able to make it this year but Jim and Andrea were able to come up from Florida with Haley and Mary and Jack brought Caleb and Jared from Georgia so Abby had fun playing with cousins she doesn't get to see that much. After a big meal I had a craft for them with Reese Cups and Aunt Donna and Katie had a turkey craft.
