Pumpkin Patch.

(10\27\11)Wow, what a busy fun day. Abby's kindergarten class went to the Pumpkin Patch in Chelsea. Once again it was a beautiful day, the weather was just perfect. The classes all meet once getting off the buses to hear the rules.

 

We went on a hike to get to the other side of the camp, this was a real hike if you ask me, not everybody was keeping up so good, and once we reached the other side we were a little pooped.

 

Here they were learning about how pumpkins grown and about gourds.

 

Then it was our turn for the hayride.

Jason and Ronnie did a pretty good job COOKING our hotdogs over and OPEN FIRE!! That's right we had to cook our own food, and then it was time for smores.

We had a really good time and I was so glad we both got to go. (Later this afternoon I met a lady at Ruby Tuesday's and she talked me in to being a troop leader for Girl Scouts...much more on that to come.)

Katie's Tea.

GranJan and some others gave Katie her bridal tea at Granny Jo's house. On the way over Abby was so excited telling me all about a secret gate and a secret garden at Granny Jo's house. I had no idea but sure enough (we had to go straight back their for her to show me)their was part of the fence, (smaller that normal) that had a latch and on the other side was rocks and a garden (weeds)but it ran behind everybody's fences so it seemed like a secret. I can remember having an imagination like that, when your little everything is just so big.

 

They did a great job on the tea, it was a fall them and very relaxed.

 

Katie had a great tea and lots and lots of help from the girls.

(10\18\11)Now that Haley has moved back to Alabama she and Abby and Madison are all taking gymnastics at the same place. She is so glad to be around her (2nd) cousins all the time now.

(10\12\11)After a trip to the doctor and the dentist we had to return some things at Walmart and Abby got to pick a surprise, what did she pick?????? Spiral bound index cards, that's my girl, she loves her notebooks.

 

Operation Shoeboxes.

(10\5\11)Tonight at GA's Mrs. Marilyn gave the girls their shoeboxes to start filling and they had a lesson on why exactly they are doing it. This is such a great project.

 

Lunch with Abby.

(10\4\11)I love to go eat lunch with Abby on my off day and today since I was keeping Bronson he got to go too, and Madison was excited to see her little brother at school.

 

Corageous.

(10\2\11)Our church, Pleasant Grove First Baptist, bought out the Sunday 5:30 showtime for our church, free of charge. This was such a GREAT movie. Afterwards...Cheesecake Factory!

Zoo

(9\30\11)Kindergarten trip to the Zoo! It was a beautiful day to be outside, this was Abby's first trip to the zoo since she was a baby. She really had a good time and I think the parents did too.

 

 

 

 

Friday after school and then after violin and then after getting something to eat we finally headed to Tannehill to spend the weekend camping. We got there late but the tent was already set up so while we were getting things unloaded Abby and Tabor were finding "clues" they were so excited to be there, it wasn't long and we went to bed.

 

The next morning we got up early and went to Trade Days and got back in time to watch Auburn play.

Then we went out on an adventure, we rode our bikes everywhere, then stopped at the sweet shop for ice cream. We got back and watched the Alabama game and decided to stay another night. They had a great time, and could have stayed a week.

 

Penny Drop Week.

This week was the Penny Drop at Abby's school. They are getting a new school next year but need to raise money for the playground. Monday was hat day, Abby was out sick but still went with Pops to take Madison so she wore her hat then Tuesday was sunglass day and Wednesday was PJ day. Thursday was class color day (orange) and Friday was field trip shirt.

 

Jason was off to set up our campsite so he got to go to the school and take pictures for me...they had a pep rally and each class had a different animal mascot they had a chant for. They ended up raising 13,700!!!
