Saturday

Saturday we started off our day going to Riley's 4th birthday party! They had a blast playing in all the water. After enough playing outside she moved on to the playroom, and played with some really sweet little girls. The cake and ice cream were sooo yummy! Then it was time for presents and goody bags. Abby and Bella loved their wands. Thanks Riley for inviting us to your party! Then we went to the Concert Hall at the BJCC for Abby's big day, her dance recital. She woke up that morning and said, "Guess what??? Today is my dance recital!" I think she was just ready to get it over with, we have been talking about it alot lately, about how she has to say her name and I think she was a little nervous. This is her at the car before we went in and after we got there and did her hair and make-up. She looked BEAUTIFUL!!! She did such a great job, and all her little friends did too!! When all the acts were done and after they presented the awards they did the finale, they danced to Party In The USA. I forget how little Abby still is until she was on stage with all those big girls. I could not have been more proud of my girl. I think she had a really good time! GranJan and Pops came to watch and bought her a porcelain trinket box with ballet slippers on it and Jason and I gave her a little gold ring with her birthstone on it(she was soooo proud of them both) and a bouquet of pink daisy's. Grammy and Jeanna came and they brought her purple daisy's, and her Uncle Jason, Aunt Tammy and cousin Carlee came to support her too.

Dance Rehearsal

Abby had rehearsal tonight. They looked really cute and I am excited to see them perform tomorrow.

Graduation

The school year is officially over, last night was the graduation program for Abby's preschool, the ceremony was short and sweet and she sang her little songs so good, she was cute on stage. I know now for sure I have to get a better camera, I could zoom way is but the pictures did not turn out well and with so much going on I couldn't get her and her friends attention long enough for my slow camera to get good pictures. Maybe soon, I know I would get good use of it as much as I love to take pictures. Abby and Emma, I could not hardly get Emma to look at me, she would smile but her eyes were always looking away. Emma, Abby and Breanna with their diplomas, it had a yellow smiley face and said GOOD JOB :) I hope Abby has made friends for years to come, we are going to Breanna's birthday in a few weeks and Emma's too I love that she has such good friends already. (I know Abby is not smiling but the other two were, and I'm telling you I was having a hard time getting them to all smile at once and wait on my slow camera, so this is the best I got!) We are going to miss Mrs. Kelley she was such a great teacher, and Abby just loved her, she gave her a hug every single day, if she forgot and got all the way out to the truck when Pops would pick her up she would have to go all the way back in to give her a hug. She made a scrapbook of the whole year with her preschool diploma, pictures and artwork, they made so many cute things and she learned so much, we could not have been happier with her first year of preschool. She was always ready to got to school and she is excited about being in Mrs. Rachael's room next year! This is a collection of some of the bigger pieces of art she has made through the year.

Carlee's Dance Recital.

(5-15-10)Carlee has taken dance at Lynn's School of Dance and they had their recital last night at Oak Grove High School. Abby and Madison loved watching all the acts and were so proud to see Carlee up on stage, she did great and she looked beautiful!

Friday

Friday was the end of the year party at Abby's school. They thought of everything, they had water play, games, inflatables, snow cones and then hot dogs for lunch. Abby, Breanna and Ella enjoying their snow cones. They love to jump! When we got home Abby was ready to try riding her bike again. She finally got it!!! But she has not mastered turning yet. I had to snap a couple of pictures of Abby and Tabor and this is what I got! Later we went to watch Madison play ball, it was her last game of the season and she did so good! Abby had a blast running around with Carlee, and Tabor.

Trying to ride without training wheels.

This was Thursday afternoon, Abby was trying so hard to ride her bike without training wheels. Tabor and Carlee started riding their bikes and Abby said she wanted to learn too. She was so determined but we finally told her "we have to go in it is pitch dark out here". You can tell Tabor was right there by her side, coaching her how to ride. She has clets on because she and her daddy were hitting softballs in the yard. You just never know about this girl a few weeks ago she didn't care anything about hitting a ball.

Happy Mothers Day

On Mothers Day we went back to the river because my parents were down there and so were Jasons so we took their gifts to them. It was cool outside so when we took a boat ride we didn't go far but Abby drove the whole way back we told her left or right and she really did drive all the way back! She is growing up quick. Happy Go Lucky Girl!! This is my plate that Abby made with her hand print and she gave me a flower pot with her finger prints made into bumble bees and butterflies. So cute!! I love it.

Saturday at the river.

We went to the river for a small family get together because my moms cousin was coming in from California for a few days. The weather was great and we all had a great time. The day before Jason and I were down there cutting grass and Abby kept saying she wanted to fish but we were busy and it was getting dark, so the next day on our way back down there we went to Wal-Mart to buy her a fishing pole. Jason said I'm not going to pass this up, if my little girl says she wants to fish, that's what we are going to do! We also stopped to get crickets, and I could not believe that she did not freak out, I just knew that when she saw them, it was going to end Jason's hopes, but she was okay, she even teased Carlee and Madison with them, putting the bucket in their face. You just never know about this girl. Everybody sitting around and eating and enjoying the day. This is Abby and my Uncle Jack, he loves fishing and he was all about helping Abby get her fishing pole ready for the water. Proud Moment! The walk down to the water, to see how long this fishing trip was going to last. And it last for about 2 hours, after we were on the pier for about 20 minutes most everybody went for a boat ride, even Carlee and Madison but Abby did not want to go she wanted to keep fishing. She did so good! She would even pet the fish, notice it is with one finger. She was not going to get it off the hook or throw it back in or bait the hook but who could blame her when your daddy will do it for you!! Carlee and Madison decided to see what was so fun about fishing so they joined in when they got back and they did really good too. These girls LOVE flip-flops. At the end of they day. (Yes Abby had to changed clothes just because at some point during the day.) Bronson is getting to be such a big boy. He got a big boy hair cut and is trying to crawl. He is such a cutie.

Marker.

(5-5-10)"I was trying to put the lid back on the marker!" (REALLY?????)

Rainy day.

Another rainy day. Abby and Tabor pretend to be at the beach. That would be nice wouldn't it?

Last day of cheernastics.

(4-29-10)Abby's last day of cheernastics with Mrs. Stacy. She has learned so much and has gotten really good with her motions. It is so cute when they get done with a cheer and she is "showing spirit"! Mrs. Stacy helping Abby with her backhand spring. Way to go Abby!
