Halloween party at school

These are the rice crispy frankenstein treats we made for Abbys school party! They turned out okay, the icing was drying so fast even in the bowl so it was a little pain but we had fun doing it. The party was at 9;00 so Mrs.Kelley had apples, grapes, chips and dip cheese and of course cupcakes and cookies. It was all so cute. She made the cutest goodie bags and all the kids that brought treats got to pass them out. The battle of the candy begins!! After the food and treats Mrs.Kelley had a cute little craft project for each of them with their name. We had a great time at Abbys first school party!

Jason and I went a little early to pick Abby up from school and they were painting there pumpkins so I got a few pictures with my phone. We went to the Disney Store to get the rest of her Halloween outfit and she made friends with another little girl whose mommy was taking forever too. I got her some of the rubber animal bracelets and she was sharing them. We are a little late carving our pumpkin so here we are finally getting around to it. Poor dad always get stuck with the carving, Abby and Tabor were only intrested for a minute and they were onto something else. I love there imaginations, when they were quickly bored with the pumpkin they started playing in the laundry room, then slowly brought things in there with them. They were using the dryer door as a desk and they were playing school Afterwards she was intrested in the pumpkin. (This is her 4th outfit for the day.) Here is our cute pumpkin!!

This is a video of Abby, but I am having trouble uploading it. I will have it on here as soon as I figure it out.

Saturday night

Saturday night we were eating at Applebees(and bama fans went crazy when they blocked the winning kick against Tennesse)we had a great meal mainly because there was a little girl on the other side of Abbys booth and they were being silly playing she was having so much fun just sitting in that booth, we actually got to enjoy our meal you would thing that since she is almost 4 years old she would be good in resturants but she is not really, she never has been, even with plenty to do she is still a handful!

Pumpkin Patch

Sunday after church we went to the Loveless Park Baptist Church Pumpkin Patch at Shadow Lake. Here is Abby getting her face painted! And sitting pretty in front of one of the many decorations I was suprised when Abby was digging for those nasty fake rats, a few weeks ago she would have been screeming, they are ever changing aren't they. She had so much fun throwing chunks of corn on the cob through the pumpkins. She was throwing the "eggs" into the hens basket, she has a pretty good arm on her, too bad she is not intrested in softball at all. Abby made a friend and had so much fun on the huge blow up slide, she wore herself out. It was such a perfect day for the pumpkin patch and espically for a hay ride, her favorite song is Big Green Tractor and starts smiling and singing when it comes on so we HAD to ride on the Big Green Tractor (not the orange one, we held out for the green one). LOOK HOW BIG I AM!!!

Halloween Party

(10/23/09)Abby was invited to a Halloween party, we did not have her costume when we found out and I was not going to have time to get one by Friday so we pulled this outfit together and I thought she looked pretty cute. Abby, Maggie, Haley, Cameron and Bailie. Christy did such a good job on the party, she had a pumpkin bean bag toss,go fish and a mummy wrap. There was the pie toss, and bobbin for apples. Abby was not into either one of them. She did do the cake walk thought. Thanks Christy for inviting us to the fun party!

Home Decor Party

(10/23/09)I had a Home Decor Party at my house Thursday night, these are some of the things she was selling, I could have bought one of everything, it was all so pretty. It was fun getting ready for the party and making refreshments, I had little ham and cheese sandwiches, a cheeseball, and peanunt butter balls. I ended up with $40.00 in free stuff and 3 jar candles. I had two guest book a show so needless to say I had a pretty good party. Abby kept saying is today my party?! She was so excited about "her" party. Lindsey brought her little boy Andrew and they played so good the whole time, they go to school together and play on the playground together so they never skipped a beat.

Making PB balls

(10/22/09) Abby and Tabor helped me roll the peanut butter balls, they did a pretty good job too!

A day at the barn

Sunday afternoon all three girls were at GranJan and Pops house, after playing for a while they all went to the barn to see Dusty and to ride him around for a while. This is Dustys stall. While Jason was getting him saddled up this is what the girls were doing, and I am sure they were not quiet about it, they can be really loud. They all took turns riding and then rode two at a time as well, they all love him and he does so good when they ride him

Saturday morning

(10/10/09)First thing Saturday morning this is what Abby put on, and she got her some fingernail polish and did a pretty good job don'tcha think??? When Abby ask me what was wrong I told her that our team was doing bad and I told her I needed her to do a cheer to try and help the tigers score! It didn't do much good:( but we will do better next week.

Firetruck at school

(10/7/09)Wednesday after Jason and I took Abby to school, we went over to the life center for a while and when we came out Abbys class was outside with the Pleasant Grove Fire Dept. they were showing them everything on the firetruck, her teacher told me that when they put the oxygen mask on it bothered her a little but we talked about why they have to wear them sometimes and she was OK with it. I didn't get any good pictures because I didn't want to disturb the classes, but I thought it was so cute I had to snap a few pictures. While Abby was at school we worked on some more of our fall/Halloween decoration, this is not finished but Abby wanted her picture made with the little girl scarecrow.

Happy birthday Ella

(10/3/09)We went to Kmart to buy gifts for Abbys school friends Ella and Emma they both have birthdays this month. She was dancing to the Christmas music and being silly pretending to drive the lawn mower, we have fun wherever we go. Abbys friend Ella at school had a costume party for her 4th birthday, Abby went as an Auburn cheerleader, they had so much fun playing with bubbles and playing on the swing set! Happy Birthday Ella!

Abby and madison

(10/2/09)Madison came home with us Friday night and they got to play for alittle while until her daddy came to get her.

Last trip to Alabama Adventure

This will be our last trip to Alabama Adventure, Jasons mom and sister (and Maggie) went with us, after we rode the hurricane, Jason and I went to ride some of the big rides while Abby went with Grammy to the kiddy park, it has been a while since I have ridden any big rides, and they scared me to death but I would keep riding them.

Baby Maggie

We babysat Maggie, and she was such a sweet girl,(make you kind of want another one...KIND OF). Abby and Tabor were very interested in her at first, then they were into playing dress-up. You can see them helping change her diaper, they would bearly touch it, and thought it was gross. We had fun keeping her and hope we can keep her again soon.

Alabama State Fair

We went to the Alabama State Fair Friday night. The rain held out and we had such a good time! Abby was wanting to ride everything, I couldn't believe she wanted to ride this roller coaster. She was holding on tight though. Of course she had to do the trampoline that is what she was looking forward to, this was the third time she has done it, the first time was last year at the fair when she was two. She did so good she finally got the back flip and then she was doing it over and over. These boats were flying around the circle, but she liked it, last year she pitched a fit when I put her in a boat and tried to get her to ride it. And she wanted to ride in the horse and buggy, notice in the two pictures to the left that she is twrilling her hair, there were to little boys in front of her and she twrilled her hair the whole time. I have never seen her do that before. Me and my mommy! We ate hand dipped corn dogs, played the duck game, went through the house of mirrors and went in the petting farm. Me and my daddy! This is the dolphin she won after she went fishing, she was so happy about winning that dolphin, she told me she has been wanting one for a long time. She named her Martha(???), but she always ask me what her name is because she can't remember. We saw monkeys riding dogs, she and Jason went through the crazy house where the floors move,(I don't have a picture of that because they had the music up loud at that place was packed). This slide was one of the rides she wanted to ride so bad but she just wasn't tall enough, so she had to ride the choo choo train instead she looked a little big for it but I bet next year she won't have anything to do with the "baby rides". We had a great time and Abby is already looking forward to next year!

Last year at the fair

This was last year at the fair, we did a lot of the same things we did this year, like the duck game, house of mirrors, fishing and the petting farm. You can see she did not like the boats so much but loved the trampoline. Dora, Diego and Sponge Bob were the main attraction for us. She remembers everything about it and is already talking about next year. More pictures of the fair in 2008.
